The yokai, or “sending wolf,” is a wolf that haunts people as they walk down the street at night, and although it does not attack suddenly, it will eat you if you fall.

今では日本では絶滅してしまったオオカミも妖怪として恐れられていた。
妖怪（送り狼）は、夜道を歩く人につきまとう狼で、突然襲ってくることはないが、転んだりすると食べられてしまう。
