About Yokai Sazaeoni
Sazaeoni are demons that have been transformed into demons by sazae that have lived for 30 years.
It is said that an amorous woman was thrown into the sea, became a turban shell, and after many more years became this yokai.
It is said that on moonlit nights, she comes to the shore and begins to dance. It is a somewhat sad yokai.
妖怪サザエについて
サザエさんとは、30年生きたサザエが鬼になった妖怪のこと。
ある情婦が海に投げ込まれ、サザエになり、さらに長い年月を経てこの妖怪になったと言われています。
月夜の晩になると海岸にやってきて踊り出すという。なんだか切ない妖怪です。
